BLACKROCK GAA.
Our playing year came to an end on Tue last when the U21’s lost to Kildimo Pallaskenry on a scoreline of 1 15 to 2 20. We put up a good fight but the match slipped away from us in the second half. We had a lot of injuries during our campaign, the boys have put huge effort in the training and challenge matches etc as have the management and we had some very enjoyable fixtures. Well done to Colm O Keeffe, Captain and the panel and management.
There was no winner of the club lotto. Only one person with three numbers. Tickets available for the GAA national club draw 2023 at €10 each. First prize is a Dacia Duster Car. Good idea for a Christmas present. All money collected is going towards replacing the fencing around the playing field.
In February we will have a clothes collection day. All money collected if to light the ball wall in the field.
