Blackrock GAA Club Lotto Draw was held on Thursday night last July 31st.
The numbers drawn were 1, 16, 17 and 24.

Lyons of Limerick County Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship Round 2.
Blackrock 2.15 Croagh/Kilfinny 1.26 played in Ballyagran.

Michael Fox Memorial Park:
The Michael Fox Memorial Park Kifinane, played host to Round 2 game in Lyons of Limerick County Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship between Glenroe and Effin on Thursday evening last July 31st. Played in front of a fine crowd, a very entertaining game saw the sides finish level Glenroe 1.15 Effin 0.18, after Effin held a two point lead at the interval 0.10 to 0.08 after playing with the breeze. Glenroe came more into the game and took the lead after Mark O’Connell scored the only goal of the game, both sides exchanged points from frees and play to the final whistle which saw the sides finish level after a late pointed free from Paddy O’Donovan levelled the score. The conditions for the game were perfect, with the recent works at the grounds, Dressing Room, Public Toilets, Perimeter Fencing and Walkway coupled with a first class playing surface, all, added to the occasion as did the Tuck Shop. Well Done to all involved, This Friday evening August 8th Granagh/Ballingarry will play Bruff in Round 3 Lyons of Limerick County Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship in Michael Fox Memorial Park Kilfinane at 7pm.

Hurlers suffered defeat in County Premier Hurling Championship:
On Friday evening last August 8th. Blackrock made the journey to Ballyagran to play Croagh/Kilfinny in Round 2 Lyons of Limerick County Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship. Both sides had victories in the opening round the previous weekend, Blackrock overcoming Bruff, and Croagh/Kilfinny overcoming Effin. It was the West Limerick side that had the better of the early exchanges going to a 0.04 to 0.01 lead, despite Blackrock aided by the stiff breeze, the sides traded points, Marty Farrell was on target with a number of long range frees, until Croagh/Kilfinny scored their only goal after 26 minutes of play, Croagh/Kilfinny added 0.03 while Jimmy Qulty added a Blackrock point to leave the interval score Croagh/Kilfinny 1.14 Blackrock 0.10. The second half saw the winners add a further 3 points w2hile Blackrock replied with 1 point from Jimmy Quilty. With 10 minutes of play remaining Blackrock reduced the deficit to six points when Paudie Leahy scored his first goal, both side exchanged points before Blackrock scored their second goal from a Paudie Leahy free, before Croagh/Kilfinny added 0.02 to record a 1.26 to 2.15 victory. Blackrock will be back in action on this Friday evening August 8th. in Kilmallock when they play Effin in Round 3 while the Michael Fox Memorial Park will play host to the meeting of Bruff and Granagh/Ballingarry also in Round 3 both games at 7pm.
