BALLYSTEEN GAA CLUB NOTES
Club Limerick Draw
Ballysteen GAA Club is now promoting the Club Limerick Draw for 2020. Cost €100 for 10 monthly draws first draw in April. By joining the draw, you have a chance to win 31 prizes monthly ranging from €10000 to €100. Your membership of Ballysteen GAA Club entitles you to be included in a draw for tickets for matches where demand exceeds supply i.e. Munster & All Ireland Finals etc.
As an incentive for members who pay the full subscription early, they will be entered in a club draw for €100. Your subscription of which Ballysteen GAA receives €50 will be used to run the club and facilitate the training of our teams.

Club Membership
For anyone who doesn’t want to join the Club Limerick Draw cost of Club Membership for 2020 will be €50 (Adult) & €25 (Minor). This will cover training and insurance costs for players and give priority for All Ireland tickets when necessary. Members can also join together to take part in the Limerick Club draw by combining their €50 membership and be in with chance of winning cash prizes every month. Cheltenham Tipping Competition
Thanks to everyone who has entered the Cheltenham Tipping Competition, which begins this Tuesday. We wish all entrants the very best of luck over the course of the week and we will have daily updates of the leaderboard following the days racing on our social media accounts. Your support and generosity in supporting the club is greatly appreciated.
EASTER FOOTBALL CAMP
Danny Neville is hosting an Easter Football Camp from April 8th to 10th at Ballysteen GAA Field.
This promises to be a great few days of spraoi agus sport. The camp will run between 10am to 2pm, is open for boys & girls aged between 5 & 12 and costs €30 per child. For further information and registration contact Danny through his email danneville@outlook.ie or mobile 0872422671.
Fixtures
Our Seniors enjoyed their first outing of the season at the weekend when we took on Na Piarsaigh. A tight game played in tough conditions saw us emerge victors by one point. Well done to everyone involved.

Intercounty Action
Well done to the Limerick Senior Hurlers who defeated Waterford on Saturday night to book a semi final spot in the National League. It’s a weekend off for them as they prepare for their next opponents who play this coming weekend. Details of the Semi Final will be announced next week.
The Footballers play host to Wexford this coming Sunday at Mick Neville Park. Throw in is set for 2pm. Best of luck to Danny and Seamus who are both involved with the side.
Parish GAA Book
The Club will be releasing a book on the history of the GAA in the Askeaton-Ballysteen parish. If anyone has old photographs or stories regarding GAA in the parish, contact Paul Anglim.
PATRONS FOR PARISH GAA BOOK
Ballysteen GAA club are looking for patrons for the upcoming book by Paul Anglim documenting the history of the GAA in the parish of Askeaton-Ballysteen. The book will be over 400 pages long and there will substantial printing costs. There will be a patron’s page in the book and Ballysteen GAA club are appealing for individuals to contribute €50. For €50, the person’s name will appear on the patron’s page and they will receive a book worth €20. All proceeds will go towards Ballysteen GAA to help cover printing costs.
