BALLYSTEEN GAA CLUB NOTES
Senior Footballers
All roads will lead to Mick Neville Park this weekend (3pm throw in), when we face Newcastle West in the Limerick Senior Football County Quarter Final. We set out of stall early in the Championship with two convincing wins over Ballylanders and Monaleen before going into the Championship break. Defeat to County Champions Adare and then a one point loss to Fr. Casey’s meant our final league game against St. Senan’s was do or die and our lads responded maginificently to the challenge posed to them to run out 13 point winners. That sets up this Saturday’s encounter nicely, as we face a Newcastle West side that finished second in their with four wins and one loss to group winners Oola. Over the last number of years there has been little to choose between the sides whenever they’ve met. Hopefully our lads can set up a meeting against Adare in the County Semi Final. Best of luck to the players and management invovled. All support is welcome.

Minor Footballers
Our Minors recorded a good win against Mungret/St. Paul’s over the weekend, prevailing on a scoreline on a scoreline of 3-12 to 2-10. This result guarantees us a quarter final spot but the boys are back in action on Tuesday against Galbally in Ballysteen Sportsfield. Throw in is fixed for 6.30pm. Best of luck to all involved and all support welcome.

Club Limerick Membership
Ballysteen GAA Club is now promoting the Club Limerick Draw for 2019. Cost €100 for 10 monthly draws first draw April 6th. By joining the draw, you have a chance to win 31 prizes monthly ranging from €12000 to €100. Your membership of Ballysteen GAA Club entitles you to be included in a draw for tickets for matches where demand exceeds supply i.e. Munster & All Ireland Finals etc. Your subscription of which Ballysteen GAA receives €50 will be used to run the club and facilitate the training of our teams.

Club Membership
For anyone who doesn’t want to join the Club Limerick Draw cost of Club Membership for 2019 will be €50 (Adult) & €25 (Minor). This will cover training and insurance costs for players and give priority for All Ireland tickets when necessary. Members can also join together to take part in the Limerick Club draw by combining their €50 membership and be in with chance of winning cash prizes every month.
