On Sunday afternoon our U21’s headed to UL again to take on Kildimo Pallaskenry in the county semifinal, conditions were difficult with strong winds blowing from left to right. Unfortunately we got off to a bad start conceding two quick fire goals but settled after that & had the margin down to the minimum with twenty minutes gone but Kildimo finished the half strong to leave it 0-6 to 2-6 at the break. Playing into the strong wind for the second half we had to work really hard to get the ball into scoring positions and everytime we closed the gap Kildimo did just enough to keep us out of reach & the goal we needed never came & Kildimo closed out the win 0-10 to 2-8. Well done to all the players & management for the huge efforts over the last few weeks.
The lotto draw took place this weekend, numbers drawn were 1,5,13 & 22. Lucky dip winners were Catriona Hanley, Danny O’Reilly, Paty & Brenda Meade, Noah Barrett & Tina Hennessy. Next draw takes place on December 26th for a €3,000 jackpot.
