SENIOR FOOTBALL
The 2019 Limerick senior football championship began last weekend as we traveled to Kilmallock to face Ballysteen on Saturday but unfortunately the game didn’t go to plan for us & three first half goals for Ballysteen effectively had the contest over by halftime,the lads won’t have much time to dwell on this result as they face St Senan’s on Saturday in Bruff where they will be looking to put things right with a victory.

There was some good news on Saturday evening as our assigned dog,Toolmaker me dad,qualified for the quarter finals of the Con & Ainne Kirby cup taking place at the greyhound track in Limerick this coming Saturday,fingers crossed he can go all the way!
Congratulations to John Kiely & his Limerick team on claiming the division one national hurling league on Sunday by beating Waterford in Croke Park,it bodes well for another long summer following the boys in green.
