BALLYLANDERS GAA CLUB NOTES

DISTANCE DERBY
This weekend we will be going to battle with Galbally Gaa but this time it won’t be on the playing field but on the roads & hills around the parish in the Distance Derby in association with pieta house. There are five simple steps to follow

Step 1: Walk/Cycle/Run the desired distance (capped at 55km per person)

Step 2: Track your distance using a tracking app on your smartphone

Step 3: Donate online via the gofundme page which will be available on all our social media platforms

Step 4: Post a picture/screenshot of your activity to our twitter, Facebook or Instagram pages using the #DistanceDerby

Step 5: Make sure the GAA clubs have track of your distance by filling out the form which again will be available online

Every Kilometre counts so please come with the whole family on Saturday & Sunday either on a bike or by foot & help raise as much as we can for a worthy cause.

SENIOR FOOTBALL

The revised senior football championship draw was made last week and sees us paired with Oola & Galtee Gaels, we are down to play the weekend of August 23rd against the looser of the game between Oola v Gaels.

LOTTO

Our lotto draw resumed on Saturday night for a jackpot of €2,800. The numbers draw were 6,16,23 & 28. There was no winner, lucky dip winners were Maria Murphy (online) ,Mary Murray, Bridget Carroll, Tommy Lane & Norma Kelly. Next draw will be on the 11/07 for a €3,000 jackpot. The club Limerick draw was held on Saturday but unfortunately we had no winners this month.
