BALLYBROWN GAA CLUB NOTES
CAR PARK FUNDRAISER: What a fantastic night we had last night at our Fundraising Race night 🐴🐎Many thanks to everyone who came and helped make it so successful. Thanks to Conor Shanahan who was a fantastic MC ( although we missed the singing 🎤) He drove the auction Race on knowing who had the money 🥴 and even spotted Orla and Fiona waving (they nearly bought a horse so won’t be doing that again 😩) Peter “Claw” Clohessy was in the house and was delighted to buy the winning horse 🐎. Many thanks to him for then auctioning off our Conor Murray signed Irish Jersey. There was a bit of a battle between John, Tom, Burgers🤫, Sean & Jimmy Mc for this lovely top but Jimmy Mc held his nerve and won out💶 . Our tote was manned by the gorgeous girls Elis Vahenomm, Jenny Cleary, Geraldine Hall & John O Mahoney (blessed among women) – they did Trojan work all night long👏 . Thanks to Declan , Niamh and Catherine for their had work keeping everyone fed and watered 🍺 – hope it wasn’t too late to bed 😴. All our losing tote tickets went into a draw for some amazing prizes – winners were – Premium Westlife Tickets (John Doolan) Conor Murray signed Rugby ball ( Ava Byrnes) Clarion Hotel voucher ( Majella Byrnes) Westward Ho Voucher (Niall Doolan) Brendan Guerin was in full flow singing 🎤 in the bar as the hall cleared out so we know the place was rocking to all your favourite tunes.

Lastly to EVERYONE who came onto the committee with Jimmy Mc to push this we thank you 🙏 it was hard going at times (the slagging and messing) but the job was done well- we have raised enough to update the car park and if you spend as wisely as you say you will (Tom & Dave😉) it might even do a bit more!
BEST of Luck on Sunday to the Ballybrown Lads who are on the 2019 Limerick Minor Panel – Aidan, Colin, Luke & Ned. Remember if you are going to Waterford the Minor match is on at 12 noon – so leave early to support the lads and travel safe.
Well done to the Ballybrown Lads who all played on the Limerick Sarsfield Celtic Challenge team vs Clare last Wednesday night. Anytime you get to wear a Limerick Jersey you are doing your family and Club Proud. Well done Eoghan, Robert, Keith, Ethan & Mark

KELLOGS CUL CAMP is on in Ballybrown Gaa Club from 1st to 5th July. Be sure to book your places online in advance to be guarantees your child’s place and free gear.

CLUB GEAR: You can NOW buy your own Ballybrown Gaa club jersey. The senior jersey comes both with the Q3 logo or without. The juvenile jersey comes with the O Sullivan Centra logo or without. there is lots of gear available to buy on the site . It will be great to see lots of adults and children wearing the new club Gear… So get buying So for birthday presents, communion gifts or hopefully a county final you will be able to order gear delivered to your door as and when you want it…
