BALLYBROWN GAA CLUB NOTES

Our U8 & U10 kids headed to play Cashel Sunday morning before they made the Trip to Tipp like the rest of us to see Aidan and the minors and the Senior team. 90 players and their family in total headed off – many daddies had a great Father’s Day out. Many thanks to Cashel for their hospitality.

A great day out last Saturday at the Ballybrown U12 Hurling Tournament. We welcomed Ballyheigue from Kerry, Park Rathineska Timahoe from Laois and Killeedy /Tournafulla from West Limerick. All games were played in great spirit with very little between any of the 4 teams. The Cup is on its way to Co. Laois this evening with the Park Rathineska Timahoe Club claiming the honours over Killeedy /Tournafulla with a late goal to seal the win. The shield is heading to Ballyheigue as they overcame Ballybrown in the Final. The real winner today was HURLING and the experience that these young lads will take with them. Best of luck to all 4 teams for the year ahead.

Well done to James Coughlan who wore wearing the Limerick jersey tomorrow playing in the Primary Games at halftime in the Senior Match vs Tipperary last Sunday.

Huge Congratulations to Aidan who scored 1-02 vs Tipperary last Sunday. The Minors will Play in the Munster final at the early time of 11.30 before the senior Match. Be sure to get in and support Aidan, Colin, Luke and Ned who are all representing the Club on the panel.

KELLOGS CUL CAMP is on in Ballybrown Gaa Club from 1st to 5th July. Be sure to book your places online in advance to be guarantees your child’s place and free gear.

If your teenagers or young adults are hanging out in the Clubhouse during their summer holidays please talk to them about binning their litter.
