Senior Hurling
Our Junior B hurlers put in a mighty performance against Kildimo Pallasenry in the City hurling final, but came up short on the night. However, we were in the game until the final whistle, well done to the panel of players and the management team, they put in tremendous commitment throughout the year, up next for this team will be the county quarter final, it is provisionally fixed for the 29th of October, no venue agreed.
On Sunday last out Junior A team were beaten by a much stronger Ahane side of a scoreline 1-22 to 1-09 in the relegation final in Cappamore.
Our annual Parish League took place on Sunday last. A large crowd of players, parents and supporters turned out to see our young stars of the future battle it out for the Jack & Margaret Sheehan Cup and the O’Grady Cup. Players from U5 to U13 took part. Thanks to both families for presenting, the Cups on the day and all players went home with a medal and memories of a great day’s hurling.
