BALLYBRICKEN/BOHERMORE GAA CLUB NOTES

Junior B: Our junior B hurlers recorded an excellent victory in round four of the East league beating Doon 1-15 to 2-10. Played away from home on Saturday evening last we got off to a decent start with points from Aidan Power and Enda Frawley to have us leading by 0-9 to 0-7 at the break. The second period saw much of the same with the two teams trading scores , our vital goal came from the roaming Jack Owens who helped himself to 1-1 on the day and with Aidan Power keeping the score board ticking over we ran out deserved winners by 2 points. Well done to all players and management involved on a great in win a game noted for the return to action of John Mitchell.
