BALLYBRICKEN BOHERMORE GAA CLUB NOTES

AGM: Ballybricken Bohermore agm took place on Wednesday last online due to the current covid restrictions that were in place. The meeting commenced with the Enda Nicholls chairman’s address. John Casey gave his performance of the year with his secretaries report, which summed up a fantastic adult year for the club, seeing our adult teams win 6 trophies and our fantastic U13 team doing the county double. Siobhan Tierney then went through the club finances. We also heard from various coaches detailing our efforts on the field for 2021. This was followed by the election of management teams for the year ahead junior a hurling Joe Teefy Manager, Colm Teefy selector, Cathal O’Neill S&G, junior b hurling Nicky Grene, Charlie O’Neill, Jossy O’Riordan, Ger Mitchell and Andrew Grene the remaining adult age groups management has to be finalised along. Well done to Conor McCarthy on winning Junior A player of the year. Conor put in some serious performances throughout the year and was by far the stand out player of 2020. Well done to Cathal O’Neill on winning Junior B player of the year. Also a massive congratulation to Joe Teefy (Intermediate) on his achievement of winning club person of the year as he guided the adult teams to 6 trophies as both a player and manager. Well done indeed to all club officers, coaches, players and supporters all our lotto participants and sponsors who kept the flag flying through a difficult and uncertain time in 2021,we sympathize with parish members who have experienced loss thoroughout the year. The club wish everyone a safe and successful year in 2022. Now that nearly all Covid-19 restrictions have been removed we look forward to welcoming all players and supporters back to the pitch..
TRAINING: adult training will continue each Monday and Thursday night from 7:30pm at the pitch. All players are encouraged to attend.
CLUB LOTTO: the club Lotto stands at €12,300… the next draw is Monday night. Congrats to Nicky Greene, Barry McGregor, Aine Ni Chonaill and Michael Tierney on this luck dip wins.
