BALLYBRICKEN/BOHERMORE GAA CLUB NOTES

Fundraiser: A new team has been announced to compete in the Ballybricken/Bohermore GAA virtual 10k team race being held on the weekend of the 5/6/7th March 2021. Team “Renford Rejects” will be made up of Adrian Lennon, Tom Breen, Colm “Bounce” Power, Adam Shire and Kevin “The Marathon Man” Ryan. A lot of the lads seem to be training hard with their legs and more others seem to be training hard with their mouths. A range of videos from the players can be seen on the club Facebook and Twitter pages and they are well worth a watch. Even John Hanly has made a video and he wouldn’t run up the stairs to bed. The Fundraiser has been very well supported by the local community and abroad. The club would like to thank everyone that has donated and make an appeal for more donations as we close in on our goal. Donations can be made to the “Bally 10k Team Race” on GoFundMe or by contacting any player or person competing.

Club Lotto: Due to ongoing Covid-19 situation the Ballybricken/Bohermore GAA club lotto will remain suspended until it is safe to resume. If you badly need a gamble please contact Bernard Green as I believe he is running a book for the Bally 10k virtual race.

Membership: Just a quick reminder that annual membership subscriptions are now due.As we cannot meet to collect membership ,it can be paid on the club website ballybrickenbohermoregaa.ie or it can be lodged directly to the club bank account.If you want the bank details or any further information please contact Ann Moloney 086 3890539 or email on jannhickey@gmail.com
