RETURN TO TRAINING: In the week gone it was announced that Inter County GAA activity is not covered under the current Level 5 exemptions for elite sport. it is the view that no on-field activity will be permitted (Training or Games) until Easter at the earliest. When the government publish an updated “Living with Covid” plan, some clarity is expected when clubs can return to training and matches in 2021. The GAA are now looking at contingency plans for the Master fixture programme. Whilst this news is disappointing for all of us as we are anxious to return to the field for collective training and matches we must obey the government guidelines and can take solace from the fact that there is optimism for the weeks and months ahead.
