U14 Football:
Hard luck to our U14 Footballers who lost out to a string Athea side in the Shield Final on Saturday morning.

Junior B Football:
Our junior B footballers took on Galbally under lights in UL on Friday evening, needing a win to guarantee themselves a spot in the county quarter final. Ballybricken started well with a couple of nice points before Kyle Tierney blitzed through the defence and fired home for a brilliant goal. Galbally quickly regrouped and managed to get more of a presence in the game and pulled back a couple of points in quick succession. Midway through the first half Pa Byrne was unfortunately forced off through injury but Bally kicked on for the remainder of the first half and went in at half time in control.
Galbally started the better of the two teams in the second half and applied plenty pressure on our backs. Sean Teefy at fullback and Alan O’Riordan now at centre back proved tough to breakdown and held out well. Jason Cross and Scott Ryan settled Ballybricken winning out kick outs and Conor McCarthy and Kyle Tierney did the business at the other end to extend our lead. Eoin Clifford delivered the sucker punch goal before more points from Conor McCarthy and Paul Martin to help Bally see out the game.
Final score; B/B: 2-12 Galbally 0-07. Ballybricken will now face Knockainey in the county quarter final. Check social media for information on date and venue closer to the time.
