Minor Footballers:
Best of luck to Matthew Cox and the Limerick Minor Footballers who take on Clare on Monday night.

Hurling:
Our Junior A hurlers played Bruff in Caherelly on Friday night. The boys set the tempo from the outset and the scoreboard reflected that. Everything Dan Owens pucked went over the bar and Ballybricken went in at half time 1-15 to 10 points up. Ballybricken continued the good form into the second half. Sean Teefy and Alan O’Riordan proved very effective around the middle of the field and half forward line while Dan Owens kept the umpires busy with the bulk of the scoring. Ballybricken ran out eventually winners on a score line of 2-21 to 1-17.

Football:
Outsiders junior B footballers had an unlucky week with their two games.
On Wednesday night we took on Knockane in Knockane. Despite playing very well for most of the game the boys couldn’t get their noses in front. It was a close game throughout with a goal and a two pointer for Knockane in the dying minutes inflating the winning margin from what was in fact a lot closer game.
Final score 1-11 to 2-15.
On Sunday morning the boys showed great heart to turn out for their third game of the week against Mungret. In a similar story to Wednesday night the boys were the better team for the best part of the game and led for a long period. The three games possibly told on the boys who just ran out of steam at the death to end up losing out by two points. Final score 4-07 to 3-12.
