Field Development:
2024 was a very busy year on and off the field. The club developed a new car park, a new lighting system for the walkway, upgrading to the walkway and most recently the goals nearest the driveway have received new sod. None of this would have been possible without the work of volunteers. The Club would like to thank everyone in the club who gives of their time to help with club activities on and off the field.
Road Hurling Fundraiser:
The annual St. Stephens day Road Hurling fundraiser takes place again this year, with registration at 10amat the clubhouse. Teams of 3 at €10 per person and bring your own sliotars. There are prizes for 1st,2nd,3rd for Adult and Junior teams.
Exciting News:
On Wednesday 18th December at 6pm the club will host a Christmas presentation with a very special guest for all the excellent U10, U8, U6 and Nursery players of 2024.
Moppers:
The finals of the “moppers” tournament were held on Saturday last. Well done to winners Ciaran Barry, Sean Teefy, Brendan Butler & Eoghan Clifford. 
Well Done:
To Rory Hanly, Michael Hanly and Joe Teefy who played against St Flannans in Harty Cup last Wednesday, it wasn’t to be John the Baptist Community Schools day.
Congratulations to Rory Hanly, Michael Hanly, John Pratt, Matthew Cox and Cillian Murphy who were part of the victorious John the Baptist Community School team in the Munster semi final 17B Hurling
Ireland Lights Up:
Ireland Lights Up will commence on the week of January 6th, 2025 and will run for 6 weeks with participating GAA clubs offering access to their walking tracks, lighting up the routes for walkers, joggers, and families alike. The club is participating and there will be more details in the coming weeks.
