Ballybricken/Bohermore GAA Club Notes:

Club Lotto:
The club Lotto stands at €7,600. The next draw is Monday night the 15th May in the Clubhouse.
No Jackpot winner on the Tuesday 8th May draw. Numbers drawn were 4,6,8,27. No jackpot winner. Lucky dips were J.P Kennedy, Monica Bonnar, Tom O’Rourke & John Crehan. The club would like to thank all for their continued support.

Junior B Hurling League:
Our Junior B Hurlers played Fedamore on Wednesday evening last in Fedamore. In a match where scores were few and far between, Fedamore went in at the break with a lead of 0:05-0:01 at the HT Break. In the second half, Ballybricken composed themselves and when they found the net half way through the second half the game was put right back in the melting pot .Fedamore did manage tack on a couple of more points to see out the game and to leave the final score 0:09-1:03 in Fedamores favour.

Junior A Football :
Bally played Knockane in Junior A Football in Caherelly on Sunday morning last in Round 6 of the football league. For the most part of the first half bally played all the football against a strong breeze, which saw Alan O’Riordan and Paul Martin get points but a goal late on in the half saw Knockane go in at the break leading by 2pts on a score of 0:05-1:04. Bally sprung into life in the second half with Niall Mitchell scoring a point immediately and Jason Cross slotting away a penalty to fir bally in front. A goal and a couple of points from Callum Murphy helped Bally see out the game, winning on a score of 2:13-2:05.

U-17 Hurling Result:
OurU-17 hurlers hosted Blackrock in the League on the 10th May, that game finished on a score of BB 4:15-1:5 Blackrock in B/B favour.

Schools Football:
Congratulations to the 4 Ballybricken Bohermore GAA lads on being part of the John the Baptist team that won the 1st year Football County Final. This is a fantastic achievement. John Humpreys Cillian Murphy Dan Barry Shane Wharton were all part of the squad.
