Ballybricken/Bohermore GAA Club Notes:

Club Lotto:
The club Lotto stands at €7,400. The next draw is Tuesday night the 1st May in the Clubhouse.
No Jackpot winner on the Monday 24th April draw. Numbers drawn were 4,18,19,22. No jackpot winner. Lucky dips were John A. O’Neill, Mary O’Neill, Brian O’Connor, Ita Halpin. The club would like to thank all for their continued support.

Junior A Football League:
Our Junior A Footballers had their third outing of the campaign against Oola on Tuesday evening last in Caherelly. In a tough physical encounter, both teams were on target with Oola finding the back of the net on three occasions while Bally cut away at their lead taking their points. Ballybricken went in at the break four points down on a score of 0:08-3:03. In the second half, Ballybricken tried to stage a comeback but for every score we got Oola matched it to maintain their first half lead. Oola eventually ran out winners on a score of 1:11-4:07.

Intermediate Hurling League:
Our Junior A hurlers hosted Doon in the Intermediate Hurling League on Thursday 27 April. Ballybricken got off to a great start playing against the wind when Niall Martin converted the opening point from play within two minutes. Bally and Doon exchange scores tit for tat throughout the half but after some unanswered points for the home team the score was B/B 0:12-0:08 Doon at the break . In the second half, Bally played well and maintained a three point lead for the most part of the half until Doon converted a late free to the back of the net to equalise the game in the dying moments of the game. The game ended a draw on a score of B/B 0:18-1:15 Doon
