CLUB LOTTO: On Sunday morning last, A Cheque for €13,400 was presented to Deirdre McGuire and her family by the lotto fundraising committee at Scanlon’s service station where the winning ticket was sold. Congratulations to Deirdre and thanks for your support. The club Lotto stands at €2,100. The next draw is Monday night the 25th April in the club house. City East Intermediate Hurling League: On Tuesday last, April 19th, we travelled to Doon in the fourth round of the Hurling league. On a sunny evening in Doon, we came up against a strong home team who capitalised on every opportunity and who were unfortunately able to pick off their score a lot easier than ourselves, although we put in a valiant effort, Doon ended up running out winners on a score line of 2:11-0:10.
East Junior A Football League: Our Footballers enjoyed some fine fortunes this past week, we played two games and were convincingly victorious in both. On Thursday we travelled to Oola to play the Round 1 fixture and came away 0:05-3:13 victors over a spirited Oola team. On Sunday last,We hosted Fedamore in caherelly in Round 4, On a night where everything fell in to place, we ran out 2:11-0:01 winners.
Upcoming Fixture: Bon Secours City East Intermediate League -Saturday 30th April 6.30pm Ballybricken/Bohermore v Crecora/Manister in Caherelly. Bon Secours City East Junior B Hurling League – Sunday 1st May 7.00pm , Ballybricken/Bohermore v Doon in Caherelly.
Limerick GAA: The hurlers picked up where they left off in cork with a grat win over waterford in the second round of the MSHC on a score line of 0:30-2:21.The Senior Footballers are out next Saturday against Clare in the opening round of the MSFC. Club Golf Classic: The Golf Classic will take place this Friday 29th April in Ballyneety Golf Club. The weather is promised well and a great day is in store. For those unable to golf during the day, please come along in the evening where there will be live music and a raffle on the night .
