Reclamation:

Results:
U11 Boys & Girls Football:
Our u11 footballers travelled to play Feohanagh Castlemahon on Tuesday last in what turned out to be an excellent evening of football with Athea fielding two 12-a-side teams. These bunch of players are working very hard on their skills and you can see them improving every week. Our next match is away to Hospital Herberstown on June 20th .

U9 Boys & Girls Hurling:
It was the turn on the U9’s on Friday who competed in a very competitive blitz against Templeglantine and Newcastlewest. We had over 16 players take to the field which is a great achievement and were able to field two teams. Thank you to the parents who helped out on the evening. Our next match is a blitz away to Askeaton Ballysteen Kilcornan/Croagh/Kilfinny on June 23rd.

U13 Boys Hurling:
Athea 2:04 v Knockaderry 2:04 Our U13’s hosted Knockaderry on Thursday the match in he first half was slow to get going but the second half was a hard-fought competition against two very similar teams. There were some great scores and tackles. Unfortunately, in the dying minutes of the game Knockaderry scored a goal to draw the match although disappointed not to get the win this did not take from the boys great performance on the evening. We send our good wishes to Daniel Hunt who is suffering from a hand injury at the moment, hopefully he will be back on the pitch soon. Panel: Tom Mullane, Edward Kelly, Kane Brouder, Paddy O’Connor, Tadhg Hunt, Jack Leahy, Jamie Brosnan, Mark Collins, Cathal Fitzgerald, Jayden Kiely, Aaron Hunt, Tony Ambrose, Nathan Ambrose, Se Ahern, Liam Og Reidy. Our next fixture is a challenge match at home to Ballyduff on June 14th.
