Church Gate Collection:
Athea GAA Church Gate Collection will take place before all masses this weekend Saturday/Sunday. Your support is very much appreciated.

Athea GAA Easter Scrap Metal Fundraiser:
Athea GAA Club will hold a scrap metal fundraiser during the Easter weekend on Saturday April 8th, Sunday April 9th and Monday April 10th from 10am – 4pm daily at the Carpark at Athea GAA Club. Items accepted include bikes, radiators, sinks, stoves, pots, pans, cutlery, old cars, farm machinery etc. Please see local press and social media for the full list of goods accepted. Offloading facilities will be available at the Club during the times mentioned above, and a collection service will also be available upon request by phoning Tina on 087 9355667. This is an ideal opportunity to clean up your home or farmyard and help raise funds to help us pay off our current loan for our pitch & walking track which currently stands at €25,000. Thanks to everyone for their continued support.

Step to the Beat:
This Thursday, the final night the six week programme of Step to the Beat will take place from 6.30pm – 7.30pm. Lines are still on sale for our Easter Hamper, priced at one line for €2, or three for €5. The draw will take place on Thursday night at the Clubhouse, where there will also be a cup of Communi-tea for all who took part. Membership will also be available to purchase at the Clubhouse during this hour. Thanks to everyone for their continued support.

U17 – Football
The U 17 boys footballers are playing round 2 of the league this Wednesday April 5th at 6.30 pm in Ballyhahill v Cappagh Rathkeale.

County Minors:
The club are very proud to have 3 players, Evan Curry(vice Captain), Calum Buckley and James Hunt on The Limerick U17 football panel. They are playing their first game in the Munster Championship round robin on Thursday April 13th V Tipperary in Mick Neville Park at 7pm. They follow this up away to Clare and home to Waterford. Best of luck to the boys, a big crowd from the parish is expected to support them, in Mick Neville on the 13th.

A big thanks to Athea Utd, we have made great use of their great facility over the last few weeks of very poor weather.
