Free Talk on Addiction & Mental Health
Healthy Athea will be running an awareness night with former Limerick hurling legend Ciarán Carey.
This event will be a very worthwhile evening as he will be dealing with the signs of addiction in our community and better understanding of the signs and dealing with mental health issues.
Keep this date in your diary. It promises to be a very worthwhile evening. February 25th at Con Colbert Hall @ 7.30pm.
Membership now Open for 2022
Membership registration is now open online through Club Force for 2022. A 10% discount is currently being offered, which will expire on March 31st. Membership of the Club is open to everyone, players & non players, track users etc. Being a member of Athea GAA allows everyone to support the development of the Club and assist with running costs throughout the year.

Lotto. Club lotteries have been a regular part of fundraising efforts at sports clubs in Ireland for decades and Clubforce (as locallotto.ie) became the online home of club and society lotteries over 10 years ago.

Dogs at the Walking Track
Dogs are welcome at the walking track, but we are appealing to all dog owners to please keep your dog on a lead for the safety of all track users. We would also remind everyone to please clean up after your dog.
Fundraiser for the Irish Heart Foundation
Healthy Athea are planning some fundraising events this weekend, Feb 12th & 13th in aid of the Irish Heart Foundation. A bucket collection will take place in front of Collins Shop on Saturday from 8am – 4pm. A walk at the track will then take place on Sunday at 10.30am. Let’s go walking together in aid of Irish Hearts!
