Junior A Mens
Athea 4-15 Croom 1-11
After receiving a walkover from Ballybrown a week ago we made the journey to Feenagh on Thursday last where we met Croom in Round 3 of the Premier Junior A Championship. The evening was warm and the pitch was in great order which seemed to suit us. With goals from Jonathan Fitzgerald and two from James Ryan aswell as a penalty scored by Kevin Murphy in the second half we were never in trouble in this game. Kieran Hartnett was in great form and saved a penalty in the first half as well as making some fine saves throughout.
The overall team performance was excellent and sets us up nicely for the Quarter finals in three weeks time.
