U17s Boys
Athea 6-9 Mountcollins 1-7
The boys had a great win in Athea last Wednesday evening in our first game of the season. We started slowly and were lucky to be level 1-3 each at the first water break. We got on top in the second quarter, as all around the pitch everyone upped their game, by half time we led 4-6 to 1-5.
The second half was a tighter affair with us having to do a lot of defending, and picking off scores on the break. Overall a great team performance.
Team- Donacha Barrett, Conor Mullane, Rory O Mahony, Tadhg Ahern, Gearoid O Sullivan, James Lee, Darragh Reidy, Evan Curry, Rory Cleary, James Broderick, James Hunt, Michael Walsh, Cillian O Connor, Ciarán Hunt and Tomás Ahern
