ATHEA GAA CLUB NOTES
Athea GAA are delighted to share with you all the updated Athea GAA Crest. We have introduced two small but meaningful changes. Firstly, a hurley and sliotar have been added to the top right hand corner celebrating and acknowledging the establishment of hurling within our Club in 2019. The second addition to our crest is the date of establishment of the Athea Ladies Club. The Athea Ladies Club have fully endorsed the use of this logo, with one logo now representing both Athea Mens & Ladies Clubs. We are all part of the Athea GAA story, supporting and encouraging each other and progressing the development of our facilities in the years ahead.
NB – Please note that Athea GAA Club owns the rights of the logo with prior permission required from the club in writing before it can be reproduced in any form.
Thanks to Megan Ahern Graphic Designfor updating the logo for her local club!
Work also continues behind the scenes to design and erect a club loan thermometer which will assist us in reducing our loan balance over the coming months. Some fundraising initiatives are currently being discussed including a walk to Croke Park and home again clocking up 540Kms! More details on this next week…
With the recent announcement that training for underages can commence the end of April, it won’t be long before our field will be in use again. It is essential that all players are registered before this return. Membership can be purchased through ClubForce.
