ATHEA GAA CLUB NOTES

Tickets for the Limerick Club Draw (formally Mackey Draw) are currently on sale through Athea GAA Clubforce, or by contacting any member of the Committee. There is a prize fund totalling €210,000 split over 10 draws, one draw a month from March to December. Tickets are usually priced at €100, but Athea GAA are currently offering a 10% discount on all tickets purchased through Club Force. 50% of the cost of tickets purchased is returned to Athea GAA, with the remaining 50% invested in the training fund for the Limerick Hurling & Football Teams. The first draw is scheduled to take place on March 27th, so anyone interested please purchase your ticket ASAP. The link for ClubForce can be found on our Facebook Page.

There are just two weeks remaining to claim a 10% discount on all purchases of membership & club draw tickets on Athea GAA Clubforce. Although our teams may not be collectively training at the moment, work is continuing behind the scenes to prepare for the return to full club activity whenever guidelines allow. NB – Whilst tickets can now be purchased for the Club Development Draw with a 10% Discount, the draw will take place in Autumn 2021. See link below

The committee are currently finalising plans to upgrade the walk & talk track by laying a permanent tarmacadam surface improving the track experience for all users. We will be receiving some assistance from Sports Capital Funding for this, but some local fundraising will also be required. Any ideas / contributions would be welcome.
