Our intermediate team enjoyed a comprehensive win over neighbours St Senans in Ballysteen last Saturday. David O’Shaughnessy was the stand out performer on the day registering an impressive tally of 1-10. David also had the honour of kicking the first ever two pointer in Ballysteen. Well done to the team and management. West Junior B League Round One:

Our junior B footballers made the trip to Athea on Sunday morning for their opening game of the year and rounded off a successful opening weekend for the club securing a deserved win.
Fielding a youthful side we went in level at half time on scoreline of 1-5 to 0-8. Backboned by 9 under 20’s our superior fitness shone through in the second half to run out deserved winners thanks to a second half goal from Colm O’Connell.

Ita Madigan Tournament Semi Final:
Well done to our under 13 hurlers who defeated St Kierans on a scoreline of 3-07 to 1-08 last Saturday to qualify for the final of the Ita Madigan tournament next Sunday night at 6pm.
