Under 14 Football Championship Round 2:
ABK Desmonds 5-07 Crecora Manister 5-05
Our under 14 footballers made it two wins from two on Thursday night after a ten goal thriller versus Crecora Manister. Our boys showed great character to bounce back from what looked like a winning goal for Crecora with time almost up to pounce for an injury time winning goal of our own from the boot of Danny Anglim following a terrific long ball from Rian Kelly. We had good displays from Darragh Moran who made 3 great saves in goals, Kieran Condon, Rian Kelly, Hugh Sheehy and Dylan Sheahan. Upfront Danny Anglim and Tom Harty kept the scoreboard ticking. West Under 15 Hurling:
Well done to our 4 under 15 hurlers Rory Moran, Eoin McNamara, Ryan O’Donoghue and Aaron Cregan who all made the trip to Neale GAA Club in County Mayo on Saturday and lined out for the West Limerick Inter Divsional hurling team who recorded two wins against Sligo and Mayo.
Leader Cup Success:
Congratulations to our under 13 hurler Cian Somers who was half back on the successful Gaelscoil an Raithin team who captured the Leader Cup County Primary Schools Hurling Title following a one point win versus Lisnagry NS. Cians second county hurling medal in a month following our u13 county win.
Under 12 Football:
Well done to our under 12 Gaelic football team who played Galtee Gaels at half time during Limericks fantastic Tailteann Cup Quarter Final victory over Wexford in the Gaelic Grounds on Sunday. The lads were delighted to see Danny Neville top off a fantastic day out with two brilliant goals to book Limericks place in next Sundays Croke Park semi final.
