ANOTHER BUSY WEEKEND AHEAD FOR LIMERICK TEAMS
Another very busy weekend ahead with four Limerick teams in League action.
First out will be the Ladies Football Side who play Antrim in Athea on Saturday afternoon at 3pm in the LIDL National League Round Two encounter. Limerick will be hoping to add two league points after their comeback last weekend in Carlow to earn a division of league points on offer, but they Ladies from the Antrim will be also anxious to record a win.
On Sunday the Limerick Senior Hurlers and Footballers face tricky assignments in their Round Two games. The Hurlers maker the journey to Tullamore to play Offaly, both sides scored victory in the opening Round last weekend, The faithful County caused an upset when they defeated Dublin in Croke Park, while Limerick scored a good win over Laois in the Gaelic Grounds, both sides will very anxious to add another brace of league points in Tullamoe. Meanwhile the Gaelic Grounds will be venue when Carlow travel to play the home side. The sides go into the game after mixed fortunes in the opening Round last weekend, Limerick suffered defeat in Portlaoise to Laois while Carlow overcame London in Ruslip. The League points on offer will be eagerly contested. .
Also on Sunday afternoon LImerick Camogie side entertain neighbours Clare in the Littlewoods National League Division 1 Group 4 game at Mick Neville Park. The home side fresh from their big win over Meath last weekend will be hoping to continue ways but will find the Banner side tough opponents.
