Another busy Munster Championship Weekend with both Limerick Senior teams in action.
The football team are once again first into the fray on this Saturday evening 31st October when they travel to play Waterford in Fraher Field Dungarvan at 7pm. This is Limerick’s third game in Dungarvan this year, on Thursday evening 2nd. January the sides met in the McGrath Cup when Limerick scored a 2.10 to 0.10 win, and on Saturday 25th. January, Limerick were back to play their opening Allianz Football League game and once again it was the visitors who prevailed to win by 1.10 to 0.10. Limerick make the journey buoyed by the victory in Sligo last Saturday while Waterford lost out to Antrim in their final game of the League also Saturday last after an indifferent league campaign

A close encounter is predicted and let’s hope Limerick can record a win and reach the Provincial Semi Final where Clare or Tipperary would provide the opposition.
