On this Sunday last year, we were in Nowlan Park Kilkenny where the two Allianz Hurling League Semi Finals 2019 were played, Limerick overcame Dublin in the opening game while Waterford defeated Galway to reach the final in the second game of the day.
Today, twelve months later things are much changed, Limerick Hurlers would have once again been playing in the Allianz Hurling League Semi- Final on what is a beautiful Sunday afternoon, and as the Commentator would have said – a lovely day for a game – but unfortunately no games.
We are all faced with a challenge, the like of which we have not seen in our time. When Coronavirus passes we will have plenty games and social activity again, but for now we must as a GAA Community observe the imposed guidelines, for our protection, that of our families,friends and neighbours and the entire community.
