GAA.ie Hurler of the Week nominees:

Limerick’s Cian Lynch, Peter Casey, and Diarmaid Byrnes are this week’s nominees for GAA.ie Hurler of the Week.

Cian Lynch (Limerick)

When Limerick were encountering problems in the opening period captain Cian Lynch remained defiant. Lynch clipped two points from play during the game and crafted several more for John Kiely’s talented team.

Peter Casey (Limerick)

Five points from play underlined Peter Casey’s classy contribution in the All-Ireland SHC Final. Casey’s second half scoring spree decorated a dynamic Limerick display.

Diarmaid Byrnes (Limerick)

Diarmaid Byrnes drilled crucial points from distance throughout for Limerick. Byrnes, who had a great tussle with the impressive Tom Phelan, stuck eight points, including one from play, while also making some brilliant catches.
