All-Ireland SHC semi-final line-up confirmed
Limerick and Waterford will meet in Saturday’s All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship semi-final in a repeat of last year’s decider.
The game will be held at Croke Park at 5pm after Liam Cahill’s side recorded a brilliant quarter-final victory over Tipperary.
Sunday’s second semi-final, meanwhile, will see Cork and Kilkenny clashing in Croke Park at 3.30pm.
The Rebels booked their spot in the last four courtesy of a comfortable win over Dublin at Semple Stadium.
The meeting of Limerick and Waterford comes eight months after the Treaty County dominated last year’s final to lift the Liam McCarthy Cup, John Kiely’s side winning 0-30 to 0-19.
Cork and Kilkenny’s last championship meeting came in 2019 when Kilkenny prevailed on a 2-27 to 3-18 scoreline. The match was notable as Patrick Horgan scored an incredible 3-10 but still finished up on the losing side.
