All Ireland Senior Football Championship Round 2
On this Sunday 12th. June, Limerick Senior Footballers will be on the road for the fourth time in this year’s Championship having played three away games in Munster Senior Football Championship in Ennis, Thurles and Killarney, scoring wins over Clare and Tipperary and losint to Kerry in the Final. This Sunday they journey to Pairc Ui Caoimh to play Cork in the All Ireland Senior Football Championship Round 2 game. Cork scored a four point win over Louth at the same venue last weekend in Round 1 Louth with Limerick were promoted to Division Two of the Allianz Football League, Louth were narrow winners over Limerick in the Division 3 League Final in Croke Park on Saturday 2nd April.
The Limerick team to play Cork will be announced on this Saturday morning at 9am. and will be published on all Limerick GAA Social Media platforms
