AHANE GAA.

U21 Hurling
Mick Neville Park hosted our game against Garryspillane last Monday as we looked to secure a win and a place in the semi-final. In a fantastic team performance we ran out worthy winners on a score line of Ahane 1-19 Garryspillane 0-09. There were several players who could have picked up the man of the match award on Monday night as the lads put in a phenomenal performance. Craig O’Connell had a monster game at corner forward, alongside Ronan Fox who scored points from everywhere. Mark Donnellan and Kevin Morrissey had great games in the half forward line with Evan O’Leary, Aidan Carroll and Padraig Harnett anchoring things in the defence.
U13 Football
The U13 Footballers brought their season to an end with a challenge match away to Mungret on Sunday. The weather held and Ahane came away with a well-deserved win against strong opposition. The boys were then treated with a trip to supermacs to mark the end of their season which they all really enjoyed! It has been a great year with the lads making it all the way to a county final. Many thanks to the coaches for their dedication and hard work all year. Thanks too to the parents for their support and finally well done to all the boys, enjoy the break!
Post Primary Hurling
Congratulations to Conor Ryan, Jack Cosgrove, John O’Connor, Ronan Butler, Sean Lucey, and their Ardscoil Rís teammates on winning the Dean Ryan Cup this week. Fantastic achievement for the lads and we are all very proud of them!
