All Star Awards

On behalf of all in Ahane GAA Club we want to congratulate Dan and Tom Morrissey on winning All Star Awards! Dan was named as the All Star fullback and Tom was named alongside Gearoid Hegarty as an All Star wing forward. We are unbelievably proud of both Dan and Tom here in Ahane and we are so lucky to have such wonderful role models in the club!

Last Man Standing Competition

Huge thank you to everyone who has gotten involved with our Last Man Standing competition. We will have weekly updates on our social media so make sure you keep an eye out for those!

Well Wishes

On behalf of all in Ahane Gaa Club we want to wish Helen Cross the very best of in her retirement as she steps away from her position on the East Board. Helen pulled a huge role in Ahane GAA over the years, she began her involvement on the Club Committee in 1988. She held the role of PRO from 1998-1999 and she was the first female chair in the club, she held this position from 2004 -2006. Helen remained on the club committee until 2010. Helen held various roles on the County Board including being County PRO between 2007 and 2012. Helen has put in a huge amount of work for both club and county, and we wish her all the best in the future!

Cash For Clobber

We are still running our Cash for Clobber Collection. We accept unwanted/unused clothes, shoes (pairs only), handbags and belts. Please drop your bags on Saturday mornings from 10am – 11am to the changing room door at the clubhouse in Mackey Park or alternatively contact Mary on 086 8717577 or Linda on 087 7840493. All support is greatly appreciated.

MyLife Every Step Counts Challenge

This week is the final full week of the MyLife Every Step Counts Challenge and at the time of writing we have covered 52,763.8 KM which is an incredible amount of ground to have covered. We have until the 3rd March to continue to clock up the KM’s! Well done to everyone who is taking part ye are all smashing it!
