Ahane GAA Club Notes:
Limerick Underage Hurling Teams:
The Limerick underage hurling teams were in action on Saturday. The club was represented well on the U14’s and U15’s teams. Joe Hartigan represented the club on the U14 team. David Moran, Andrew O’Connor, Cormac Ryan, Dannan Glynn, Cian McCarthy and Kevin McNamara all represented us on the U15 team! Mary Hassett was involved in the backroom team with the U16s! Wonderful opportunity for these young men, who represented our club so well. Hopefully they will be on Limerick panels for many years to come. Well done boys, very proud of you all!
Junior A Hurling:
Our Junior A hurlers travelled to Feenagh on Friday evening to play Killeedy. A tough outing for the lads who will rue their missed chances and some of their decision making. They never gave up though and the game was all square as the fourth minute of injury time ticked over. Killeedy won the puck out and put the ball over the bar to give them the one-point win. Ahane 0-17 Killeedy 1-15.
