Ahane GAA Club Notes:

Congratulations to Shane and his U16 teammates who won the All-Ireland O’Donovan Cup Final on Saturday beating Wexford 2-10 to 1-09. Great to have another all Ireland medal coming back to the club.

Belated congratulations to our dual U18 player Tiernan Donovan on being a member of the successful Ireland U20 Lacrosse Squad who recently won the European Championships in Poland beating England in the final!

Well done to our Junior A Footballers who had a convincing win over Bruff on Thursday evening in Caherelly! They play Ballylanders on Wednesday 21st August in Kilteely at 6:30pm.

Well done to our Minor A Footballers on a great win over ABK Desmonds on Tuesday. The game ebbed and flowed and our lads put together some great passes and got some fabulous scores! They ended the game on a scoreline of Ahane 4-14 ABK Desmonds 1-08. They have secured their spot in the Final on Wednesday 28th August in Mick Neville Park at 6:30pm and we are wishing them the very best of luck!
