Ahane GAA Club Notes:
Junior A Football:
After a great game against Camogue Rovers our Footballers came away with a hard fought one point win! They then faced Cappagh in the County Final and again it was a tough battle but the lads fought hard for one another and got some stunning scores that saw them win the County Final by the narrowest of margins once again! It was been a very successful league campaign for our Footballers as they are unbeaten and have already two trophies in the trophy cabinet for 2024!
Junior B Hurling:
Hard luck to our Junior B’s who lost out to South Liberties in the East League Final. They gave it everything but Liberties just had more legs towards the end and were able to finish the game off.
U13 Hurling:
Huge congratulations to our U13 Hurlers who beat Patrickswell in the Division 2 League Final on Monday evening!
Munster Hurling:
Huge congratulations to Tom, Dan, and the Limerick Senior Hurlers who created history once more as they won their sixth Munster Hurling title in a row last weekend. Unbelieve achievement and we are so proud of the lads!
Feile:
Our U15 Hurling and Football Feile teams we presented with their gear on Monday evening in the clubhouse after a lovely presentation from their coaches. It’s a huge achievement for the lads, their management teams and the club to have two teams heading to Feile and we are beyond proud of them all!
