Féile A Football:
Huge congratulations to our u15 footballers on winning Féile Roinn A against a strong Fr Caseys team on Saturday. The match was played in Rathkeale GAA club in all four seasons of weather. Fr Casey’s were quickly out of the traps with an early goal but our lads put the heads down and at half time it was all square. Second half was extremely competitive with the teams going score for score but Ahane pulled away in the last ten minutes to win on a score of 3 – 5 to 3 -1.
Thanks to Fr Caseys for a competitive and sporting game, the referee, Rathkeale GAA for hosting and to all the supporters who turned out to cheer on the boys.
Most of all, thank you and well done to the team and their coaches Jimmy, Liam, Brian, Greg, Dan & Brian who have worked so hard over the last few months for their well-deserved win. Thanks too to AnneMarie running communications with parents! Ahane abú.
Limerick U20 Football:
Well done to Craig O’Connell and his Limerick U20 Football teammates who got a one point win over Waterford in the Munster Championship.
Limerick Senior Hurling:
Hard luck to Tom Morrissey and the Limerick Senior Hurlers who lost out to Kilkenny in the League Semi Final on Saturday.
