Happy St Patricks Day:
We hope you all had a great St Patricks Day!
Well done to all our players and mentors who took part in the Castleconnell St Patricks Day Parade!
Limerick U20 Football:
Huge well done to our own Craig O’Connell who played with the Limerick U20’s Footballers on Friday as they drew with Tipperary on a score line of Limerick 0-12 Tipperary 2-06
Craig played the full game and in true Craig fashion he covered every blade of grass on the field. Another very proud day for our club.
Limerick Senior Hurling:
Well done to Tom Morrissey and the Limerick Senior Hurlers who drew with Galway on Saturday in the League but secured their place in the League Semi Final next Saturday against Kilkenny in Supervalu Pairc Ui Chaoimh at 4:30pm. We are wishing them all the best of luck!
Post Primary All Ireland Final:
Congratulations to Kyle Furlong and his St Mary’s Newport teammates on winning the Post Primary Schools All Ireland after a very convincing win over Colaiste Einde!
East Team:
Well done to Ahane’s Joe Murray, Cillian Maher & Aidan O’Connell who played for East Limerick in the Mackey Cup. A fantastic experience for the lads and we’re very proud of them!
Healthy Club:
Ahane GAA are delighted to be accepted onto phase 6 of the Irish Life GAA healthy club programme running over the next 18 months.
As part of this Ahane GAA are actively seeking new members of all ages to join the Health and wellness committee for 2024.
