Senior Hurling:
We travelled to Adare to take on Adare in the Bon Secours Senior County Hurling Cup Semi Final. It started off as a tight, close game. Points from Ciaran Barry, Jack Butler and Tom Morrissey kept us in the lead. Adare scored a point from play and then from a 65, before Gavin Rowsome and Ronan Fox combined to get a point. Adare continued to put frees over the bar while Ronan Fox scored two stunning points to keep us on the lead. Ciaran Barry brought his shooting boots and got points from play and from frees. Dan Minehan got his name on the score sheet as did Gavin Rowsome and we were two points up after seventeen minutes. Two quick Adare points had the game level again before Ciaran scored two more points. Kevin Morrissey got in on the scoring too as he got a point from play. Half time Ahane 0-15 Adare 0-12. Adare got the first point of the half but Gavin responded with a great point, well worked between himself and Mark Donnellan. Padraig Harnett got a massive score from out near the side line and then Ciaran scored another free. Two quick points from Mark Donnellan and Willie Brennan saw us stretch our lead to seven. Ciaran, Gavin and Ronan scored a point each before Adare scored two points. Jack Butler got his second point of the game and put us ten points to the good. Adare scored two more points, and Ronan added to his tally with another great point from a free. Ciaran scored the first point of the game and the last point of the game. Full time Ahane 0-28 Adare 0-18.

U15 Hurling & Football:
Our U15 hurling and football squads came together in Mackey Park for a fun end of season evening on Friday. They enjoyed penalty shoot outs, hurling and football matches, pizza and a bit of craic to round off the season.
Many thanks to Paddy Morrisey for donating 3 Limerick jerseys to the group. Lucky winners were Kevin McNamara, Joe Hartigan and Luke McCormack.
Shane Gill & Owen Clifford thanked the coaches for all their hard work and time over the season and thanked Gina & Joanne for organizing the food which the club kindly sponsored.
Well done to all the boys and their parents who supported them all season. A super bunch of lads and the coaches look forward to seeing them all back next year! Enjoy the break!
