Ahane GAA Club Notes:

Junior A Football Championship:
We opened our Junior A Football Championship against Ballybricken Bohermore on Wednesday in Caherconlish. It was a tough first evening out where we missed two goal chances and struggled to retain possession of the ball against a strong Ballybricken Bohermore side. Full time Ahane 1-03 Ballybricken Bohermore 2-12.

U7 Football:
Well done to our u7 footballers who hosted Oola and South Liberties in a blitz on Saturday morning! Well done to all the kids who took part and thanks to our coaches for organising.

U11 Hurling:
Our u11 hurlers played Mungret St Pauls on Tuesday evening in Mackey Park. Each side fielded two teams who played two great matches in light summer rain! Thanks to Mungret for travelling and to our coaches for organising.
