Ahane GAA Club Notes:
Underage:
U7 Football:
On Saturday morning our u7 footballers welcomed Ballybrown and Ballybricken Bohermore to a sun drenched Mackey Park – all the players put on a great display of skill in their matches in very warm conditions. They were proudly encouraged by their mentors and supporters. While there may have been competition between the three clubs today, they all agreed on one thing…Limerick for the Mackey Cup!!
Well done to all the players for a fantastic morning of football. Thanks too to the supporters who turned out to cheer on the kids and to the coaches for organising!
Ahane agus Luimneach abú!
U14 Hurling:
Our u14 hurlers had a narrow win in the league against a very good Murroe side on Wednesday evening. Well done to both teams in a hard fought game.
Walkway:
Work on our walk way around our pitches started on Wednesday in the glorious sunshine.
A fantastic amenity to have in our community and we are so looking forward to it being complete!
Ball Wall:
Ahane ball wall is back open and painted with 3 games ,knockout, scores and accuracy!
Thank you to Donal O’Sullivan for doing this for us! It will hugely benefit our underage players and great for practice!
Junior & Leaving Cert:
Best of luck to all our players who commence their Junior or Leaving Cert exams this week. What’s for you won’t pass you and you’ve done all the hard work leading up to the exams so all that is left to do is to try your best!
