U7 Hurling
Well done to all the boys on Saturday who played in the u7 blitz in Cappamore. They all played fantastic in a lovely day for hurling
U9 Hurling:
Well done to our u9s who put on a super display on a fab evening in Murroe. Great improvement week on week. Well done kids. Thanks to the parents who supported, Murroe for hosting and to our coaches.
U13 Hurling:
Our u13 hurlers played South Liberties in championship Thursday evening. The opposition had a strong lead at the end of the first half but our lads had super attitude and work rate and put in an excellent second half with some great scores. Well done to South Liberties on the win. Final score 2-6 to 1-4.
U15 Hurling:
Well done to our u15 hurlers who drew with Doon last Monday night in a high scoring game Ahane 5 – 9 Doon 3 – 15.
U10 Football:
Well done to our u10 footballers who played a blitz against Na Piarsaigh, St Patrick’s and Mungret St Paul’s on Thursday evening in Mackey Park. They had driving rain and some sun (not much) to deal with and represented Ahane so well! Some great defensive tackling, passing & shooting on display in all 3 games in a very busy week for this squad. Thanks to the teams who travelled, supporters on the sideline, our coaches and those who helped us out including with car park on a very busy evening. Ahane abú!
U11 Football:
Well done to both our U11 football teams on Tuesday evening in 2 excellent games V St. Kieran’s. The lads played brilliant and they left everything out there. Thanks to St Kieran’s for good competitive games. Big shout out also to Ger Frawley and Padhric Ryan for reffing the games and to the parents who helped with car park.
Inter County Football:
Congratulations to Ahane’s Liam Óg Glynn and all the Limerick panel and management on winning the Daryl Darcy Cup as ‘phase 1’ Munster minor winners over Tipperary on Thursday evening! Great celebrations in Mallow!
Senior Hurling:
Our Seniors played Murroe in the 4th round of the Bon Secours East Senior Hurling League on Sunday evening in Boher. In a close game throughout, our lads came out the better with a full time result of Ahane 1-15 Murroe Boher 0-14.
Junior A Hurling:
Round four of the Bon Secours City/East Junior A Hurling League saw us take on our neighbours Monaleen in Mackey Park. It was nip and tuck throughout but we came away with a one point win! Full time Ahane 2-19 Monaleen 2-18.
Golf Classic:
Our annual golf classic is back again this year! We head to Castletroy Golf Club on Thursday 15th and Friday 16th June.
Three ball scramble, €240 per team. On course burger & meal after your game includes dessert & tea/ coffee. Goodie bag included too!
