Condolences:
On behalf of all in Ahane GAA Club we send our condolences to the family of Pat Ahern on his sad passing. Pat played Senior hurling with the club in the late 70’s early 80’s. Our thoughts are with Pat’s wife Nell, children Paul, Margaret, Julie, Aileen, Patrick, Kate, his grandchildren, extended family and friends at this sad time. May he rest in peace

WE’RE BACK!
The long anticipated return to hurling for our u7 hurlers is over! Nothing was going to derail their first session & we were so proud of our u7s who got stuck in with great gusto. We had superb coaching with Kevin, Mark, Claire , John & Martin putting the 19 hurlers through their drills whilst focusing on making it fun & ensuring every child participated.
Well done to everyone & see you all again same time next week!
Football Féile:
Well done to our Feile u15 Football Team on Saturday morning! We were unlucky against a strong Na Piarsaigh side and our boys showed great heart to come back and secure the win v St Patrick’s. Thanks to all the parents for their support & to our umpires assisting us today.
Limerick Hurling:
Well done to Tom Morrissey, Dan Morrissey and the Limerick Senior hurlers who secured their League final spot after a great win over Tipperary on Saturday. We are wishing them all the very best of luck against Kilkenny in the final.
Well done to Evan O’Leary and his Limerick U20 teammates who got their season off to a winning start against Waterford.
Congratulations to Conor Bickford and Jack Cosgrove along with their Limerick Minor teammates on a great win over Waterford.
