St Patrick’s Day
Huge well done to all our players and members who participated in the St Patrick’s Day Parade in Castleconnell. It was great to see such a big crowd back enjoying the festivities!
Post Primary Hurling
Congratulations to Evan O’Leary, Jack Butler, Niall Moran and all involved with Ardscoil Rís on a fantastic win over St Kieran’s in the All Ireland Schools final on St Patrick’s Day.
3rd Level Hurling
Well done to Padraig Harnett and UCC on winning the Munster Hurling Final on Tuesday after beating UL.
U6 and U7 Training
Children born in 2016/2017 are eligible to play with U6s. Children born in 2015 are eligible to play with U7s.
U6 hurling/camogie is starting on Monday 21st March 6-6:45pm in Lisnagry School, School Road.
U7 hurling is starting on Monday March 21st in Castleconnell School in the village.
For hurling children must have a hurley and helmet.
U6 football is starting on Wednesday March 30th 6-6:50pm and U7 football is starting Wednesday March 23rd 6-7 at Ahane GAA Club, Mackey Park, Newgarden Road.
For football every child must have a gum shield.

Junior A Football League
Our junior footballers started their League campaign on Sunday morning against Monaleen. Both sides did well and put on a good display of football. Our lads were unlucky not to get a couple of goals. Full time score Ahane 0-08 Monaleen 2-06. Full report on ClubZap.
Condolences
On behalf of the club, we send our condolences to Colin, Margot and all the Marsden family on the sad passing of Colin’s dad Tom.
