AHANE GAA CLUB NOTES

Woodlands House Hotel Junior A Football County Championship
Our Junior A Football team were out against Adare on Thursday evening in Mick Neville Park. They put up a good fight and worked hard throughout but Adare were just too strong.
U19 County Premier Hurling Championship
We travelled to Mungret to play Mungret/St Pauls to play our round 4 game. We came up against a strong Mungret/St Pauls team who came away with a convincing win. We are out again on Friday 3rd September v Na Piarsaigh in Caherdavin at 6:45pm.
U15 Feile
Huge well done to our U15 boys and their management on a brilliant win against Mungret/St Pauls on Saturday morning to see them win the Feile for 2021. A great display of hurling from both sides in lovely sunshine. A great day for the club!
All Ireland Final
Huge congratulations to Dan and Tom Morrissey along with the Limerick Senior Hurlers and management on one of the best All Ireland performances in history against Cork that see them lift the Liam McCarthy for the second time in as many years. We are so proud of Dan and Tom and all they have achieved in their careers so far; they will always be heroes in Ahane!
