Allianz National League
Hurling: Limerick welcomed Cork to the LIT Gaelic Grounds on Saturday evening, where they secured their first win of their League Campaign. A great performance from Limerick saw them come away with a 0-33 to 2-19 win over Cork. Both teams will meet away in four weeks’ time in the Munster Championship. Limerick now play Westmeath next weekend and we wish Tom, Dan and the lads the very best of luck.
Football: The Limerick Senior Footballers are in the Division 3 League Semi Final on Saturday June 12th at 4pm v Derry in Carrick on Shannon. We wish the Footballers and their management the very best of luck!
Littlewoods National Camogie League
The Limerick Senior Camogie team put in another good performance on Saturday against the reigning All Ireland Champions Kilkenny. They were ahead at both water breaks and at half time but second Kilkenny goal and some missed scoring opportunities from Limerick towards the end of the second half meant that Kilkenny won out on a score line of Kilkenny 2-10 Limerick 0-13.
We wish Kate, Ann, Shauna and the Limerick Junior Camogie team the very best of luck in their league Semi Final next weekend!
Lidl Ladies Football League
The Limerick Ladies football team had another good win this weekend as they beat Carlow in the LIT Gaelic Grounds. This win means they are now in the Lidl Ladies Football League Division 4 Semi Final v Leitrim next weekend. We wish the girls the very best of luck!
